Transformative Cross-Functional Partnerships
1. Frank Case Recording: We’ll meet via Zoom for a 15-minute recording session. The case we’ll be role-playing is a common-yet-challenging workplace scenario. In this call, I’ll share the background of the case, I’ll give you a chance to ask questions and/or prepare your approach, and then we’ll record the video. It’ll be over before you know it.
2. Small Group Debrief: In a group of 5 executives, we’ll meet for 3.5 hours to debrief on the videos. You’ll learn not only by watching your own video, but also by seeing a consistent pattern emerge across peers’ videos. You’ll leave with new insights into your own behavior and how it impacts organizational dynamics.
3. Post-Session 1-1 Coaching Session: Within the week following the session, we’ll meet for a 75-minute session to talk through how to apply your new insights, answer questions you may have, etc. The intent is to ensure you feel equipped to apply your new skills with sufficient confidence and efficacy.
Program Fee: $495

About Me
Hi, I’m Bob, a former child psychologist turned organizational consultant. During a year-long deployment to Iraq as an Army psychologist, I saw the power of strong leadership — and the human cost of it’s opposite.
When I left the Army 20 years ago, I pivoted and committed my career to solving that problem.
Today, I run The Team Transformation Method, a team development firm trusted by executives on four continents — including Fortune 500 leaders — to build cultures where people truly have one another’s back.
Struggles
But for my first many years as a consultant, I sensed I was missing something. I could run a two-day offsite, with good conversation and a hopeful conclusion. But 90 days later, the same conflict would resurface. And if I’m honest, I couldn’t explain why.
“They just don’t want to change.”
“The team dynamics are too far gone.”
“The leader is weak.”
I knew my clients deserved better than my excuses. But what was it?
The Turning Point
That’s when I came across a footnote in a book.
It read: “I’m forever indebted to Barry Jentz for teaching me how to show executives that they don’t listen as well as they think they do.” High praise from a big author in my space. But who was Barry?
I did some digging. Saw he was using videotape to capture the move-by-move moments that derailed team dynamics. That was it! That’s what I’d been looking for. So I cold-called him.
We reached a business agreement — which later became a friendship — and in March 2017, I flew to Boston to study with the master
The Result
I learned how to show leaders that:
These were flawed strategies for managing difficult interactions. They went unnoticed in real time, but were obvious on playback of the videos. Making the invisible visible was the unlock.
I could now help clients take ownership, make high-leverage changes, and shift the dynamic for good.
These Insights Changed My Life Too
In 2023, my two sisters and I faced difficult medical decisions about our aging mother. We were talking past each other, each convinced we were advocating for the right things. I’ll be honest, things got pretty heated.
But then I caught myself doing the very things I teach my clients about. So I paused and made the shift that I teach.
We were able to agree on decisions that took care of Mom and took care of each other.
We became closer because of the disagreement, not in spite of it.
